Lately I've become more and more convinced that the greatest enemy of faith is not our sin, but rather our sense of human rationality and common sense. Walking on water is not rational. Feeding thousands of people from a few loaves of bread and a few fish is not rational. Yet the Bible tells us all they happened. If we believe one part of Scripture we should believe all of it. If we claim one promise of God we should claim all of them. The only thing God requires to do a great work in our lives is for us to have faith in Him. Without faith it is impossible to please God. Abraham believed by faith and it was credited to Him as righteousness. Faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains. We either believe them or we don’t. We should pray every day for God to increase our faith so that He can do what He wants to in our lives. That’s my prayer. How about yours?
