Maybe the studios should just reboot and remake every popular show going back to the 50s. Even iconic shows like I Love Lucy or The Honeymooners, or Cheers or All In The Family.
They should just spit on all of our memories in an increasingly desperate and futile attempt to hold onto their ever shrinking traditional viewer base.

God neither wants nor needs our help in fulfilling His will for our lives. The only thing He wants from us is first to become saved and then for us to get to know Him better. The more we get to know God through Jesus the more our wills, will become naturally aligned with His. Anything else is wasted effort.

I keep thinking about how nice it would be to have some Hollywood writer scripting a happy ending for each of us. Still, Hebrews 12:2 does call Jesus the "Author and Finisher of our faith." It's not a perfect metaphor of course, but He does know the end from the beginning. He is working all things for the good of those who love Him. He knows every action that will ever be taken by anyone, anywhere, at anytime. Although He'll never override our free wills He can plan His responses to it. So no matter what's going on in our lives we who have accepted Christ can be sure of a happy ending.

No human love no matter how pure and powerful can compare to the love God has for each of us. Every romantic song and poem could be from Him to us. he doesn't want anyone of us to be lost, but we have to admit that we are in fact sinners and accept His death on the cross as the pardon for our sins. There's no other path and no other way.
